EVA is an important polymer material, and its industrial production typically employs a high-pressure continuous bulk polymerization process, in which nonpolar ethylene and highly polar vinyl acetate undergo a polymerization reaction under high temperature and pressure conditions.

GPPS plastic is short for General Purpose Polystyrene. It is a colorless, transparent thermoplastic with good rigidity but relatively low toughness. Its chemical formula is (C8H8)n, and its CAS number is 9003-53-6.

High-density polyethylene (HDPE) resin is a white powder or granular product with a density range of 0.941-0.960 g/cm3, a crystallinity higher than 65%, and is non-toxic and non-absorbent [1-2]. This material exhibits good heat and cold resistance, good chemical stability, high rigidity and toughness, good mechanical strength, and also good barrier properties, dielectric properties, and resistance to environmental stress cracking.

It also possesses good insulation properties, leading to its use in manufacturing casings and components for appliances such as refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, and televisions. Furthermore, its excellent chemical stability, heat resistance, transparency, and mechanical properties make it suitable for manufacturing medical devices.

Styrene monomer is a polymer synthesized via free radical addition polymerization, with the chemical formula (C8H8)n. It is a colorless and transparent thermoplastic with a glass transition temperature above 100 °C. It possesses excellent thermal insulation, electrical insulation, and transparency, and is widely used in fields such as acrylic glass, ABS resin, electronic appliances, and other engineering plastics.

Low-density polyethylene (LDPE) is the lightest type of polyethylene resin. It appears as milky white, tasteless, odorless, non-toxic, and matte waxy granules. It possesses good flexibility, extensibility, electrical insulation, transparency, ease of processing, and a certain degree of air permeability.

ABS plastic is a terpolymer of acrylonitrile (A), butadiene (B), and styrene (S). It combines the properties of the three components: acrylonitrile provides high hardness and strength, heat resistance, and corrosion resistance; butadiene provides impact resistance and toughness; and styrene provides high gloss, easy coloring, and easy processing.

These materials are formed through the condensation polymerization of phthalic acid and glycols. They exhibit high crystallinity, excellent mechanical strength, and heat resistance, and are widely used in the manufacture of packaging bottles, electronic components, and automotive parts.
